The practice of Dr. Johnson and Dr. Jackowski began in 1989, three days before Hurricane Hugo. The doctors had started their business from "scratch" so that they could build a practice committed to excellence like they had always envisioned. Those first few months after Hugo were tough on business, people had other priorities, but by continuing to offer quality service in a caring environment, the practice continued to grow.

Over the next decade the doctors continued to offer state of the art Dental care in their original location. Dentistry is an evolving science and Pleasant Family Dentistry is dedicated to staying at the forefront of modern technology. The addition of dental computers,intra-oral cameras, Piezo scalers and other high tech equipment along with a continual growing patient base soon pushed the limits of the facility.

The Dr.'s wanted an office that reflected the quality of the dentistry that they provided. They wanted a place that was convienient and where their patients would feel
comfortable.

Much time and effort was spent designing and building a new facility that offers the perfect environment for quality dentistry. The new office on the Isle of Palms connector opened in July 2000 and we are here to serve all of your dental needs.
