Hygienists

Heather, RDH

Heather graduated in 1997 from Trident Technical College with a dental hygiene degree.  While working as a dental hygienist she continued her education at the Medical University of South Carolina and received a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s degree in Health Administration.  She is an officer in the United States Air Force Reserve where she has served for 18 years.  She is certified to monitor nitrous oxide and administer local anesthesia. Heather is married to a Mount Pleasant native and they have two active young boys.



Della, RDH

Della graduated from Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, Florida in 2005 as president of her dental hygiene class. She and her husband moved to South Carolina in 2007 and has been with Pleasant Family Dentistry ever since! Della lives on a farm with her husband, son and yellow lab.  Della is an avid Florida Gator fan and makes it to Gainesville as much as possible to cheer them on! She enjoys the outdoors and is active in her local church.

Amber, RDH

Amber graduated from Ferris State University with an associate’s degree in dental hygiene.  She moved from Michigan to escape the cold in 2008.  Believe it or not Amber and one of her high school friends chose Mount Pleasant South Carolina as their home by looking at a map of the east coast and picking a familiarly named city. They lived close to Mount Pleasant Michigan, how cool is that!  Amber is certified to monitor Nitrous Oxide and administer local anesthesia.  On her off time she enjoys going to the beach and running.

Sarah, RDH

Sarah was born and raised in Indiana, but moved to South Carolina in 2001.  She graduated from Greenville Technical College in 2005 and practiced dental hygiene in Greer, SC for 6 years.  She and her husband Matt just got married and moved to Mt Pleasant in April 2011.  Sarah is certified to monitor Nitrous Oxide and administer local anesthesia.
